TIME

Time fades but wounds unhealed still bleed
the surgeons stitches rip and the wound won't heal
infection sets in and invades your body
will this ever end?
You take all the pills, and try to keep the wound clean
but every time you think it looks better and a scab forms
something scratches it and the wound becomes exposed once again!
The doctors can't help, a band-aide isn't enough, time has done nothing to heal it
and you cry "Please Go Away!" but still the wound is there
taking on a life of its own!
I'm at a loss, don't know what to do, will it never end?
This bleeding wound, will it never heal?
I try and I try but yet the wound is still there almost a year later.
So I am left being pathetic!
