My Voice

Well for me it began as a child of abuse in an unhappy home that was given a gift for imagination and putting words together in a way that seemed to move people. I wrote my first poem at the age of 10 and have conituned writting them since that time. Then one day I found that my gift was not just for poetry but other formas of the written word so I explored it and have been working on my first book, which I hope to finish shortly after I graduate. I always have found inspiration from my emotions, I guess that's why I fancy myself a poet. My book is a romance novel. Becuase what poet is not truely a romantic at heart??? I believe God has blessed each of us with a gift that is our own, the thing that defines our individuality and words are the gift he has given me and it is my goal to use that gift to make the world a better place to live in some way!
