Resolutions for 2009

For 2008 I resolved to eat better and take better care of myself. I stopped eating at McDonald's, which is something I did at least 3 times a week, I cut down drastically on my salt/sodium intake, I went from drinking between 2 and 4 sodas a day to having 4 a week. After all I worked hard for the rewards I am about to reap and I want to be around and healthy so that I can fully enjoy each of them.
So as 2009 approaches I think about what I might resolve this year.
I have a Great man who is my very best friend, my daughter seems to be getting on the right track, I am 5 months away from graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree, and 1 year away from being able to set down with my youngest and explain that it was because of my deep love for her that I gave her to her parents, and that I want nothing more than to be part of her adult life, if she will have me. I am growing at my job which is leading me on the path to my career. What more could I ask for. Well there is nothing more that I need but much improvements can always be made in a person.
So in 2009 I resolve these things.
1. I will be nicer and try not to get so irritated with those around me.
2. I will find patience with all others.
3. I will complete my degree and use my education and blessings to better the lives of those not as fortunate as myself.
4. I will let my friends and family know just how important they are to me, by showing them the great affection they deserve.
5. I will realize that no matter how those around me act I need to act like a Christian and not be snotty. Treating others the way I expect to be treated not the way I am being treated.
6. I will find it inside myself to accept that not everyone does things the way I do and that is not bad.
7. I will exercise to keep with the getting healthy thing from 2008.
8. I will be kind and loving to Brad everyday and thank him for putting up with my moody ass!
9. I will try to be a positive influence in the coming year for Ursula and instead of getting angry when she does not do things the way I think she should I will encourage her to be her own person and be the best person she can be.
10. Most of all I will try to improve my person, because what good is all I have accomplished if I have no one to share the benefits with.
Happy New Year, may all your resolutions be kept or broken for the right reasons!
As always thanks for tuning in, stopping by, and reading my babbles!
