For Blogs Sake!!!

It's all in the title!!!

I need to blog more!! So even if I have nothing of importance to say I am going to make myself blog to form a habit.

See I have a theory that if I force myself to blog even when there is nothing to blog about I will begin looking for things in my daily life so that I have something to blog about and perhaps one day I will be a real blogger rather than just a wannabe!

So I am blogging for blogs sake!

Today is the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. It seems every year we grow farther from that day. Not just in the literal since but in our thoughts. With all that is happening in the world and our country today it's hard to remember the tragedy that led us to where we are today. The world is a very different place than it was Sept. 10, 2001, and there's no going back.

So where are we headed? I fear that with each day our country becomes more divided and the radicals on each side become more immersed in their own beliefs that they no longer seek the truth or what is right. There is no blur or middle, it seems as if everyone is now taking a side and the mighty technology that I am now using to communicate with anyone stopping by is, in my opinion, doing more harm than it is good.
mis-information and fear-mongering have always been around but neither had the power that technology has provided them with now.

People bitch that illegals are steeling their jobs and we all know that is the biggest bunch of crap. Fact is people should be worried about how many jobs this wonderful thing called technology has cost us. Fewer people are needed to do the same jobs because technology made people disposable.

You may think to yourself this broad is crazy, what is she talking about? But think about it for a minute, the Internet has cost jobs in many areas such as: mail, newspapers, television, advertising, movies, music and more. Each of these industries have lost money because of the Internet therefore costing people their jobs. Look I know that I am sounding a bit loopy here. I know technology has provided us with many great things and isn't inherently evil but then immigrants, illegal or otherwise, also are not inherently evil. These things may not seem like they have anything in common but they do if you think about it.

The inventors of these amazing machines don't set out to hurt people they are meant to help make life easier. These inventors just want things to be better. Immigrants, whether here legally or not, just want to make life better for them and their families. They don't set out to hurt anyone and in reality they don't. More illegals pay taxes and are productive members of our society than are drug crazed, armed lunatics out to rob you blind. They aren't going to doctors on your dime for fear of being found out and sent back to their countries. They aren't collecting welfare for the same reason. To use them at every turn to stop progress in places where it is really needed is EVIL!!

Using illegal immigrants to scare people into not supporting an idea is old school. It's the oldest trick in the book. Follow my thinking for a minute. Health care reform was at the top of every one's agenda during the elections. Now that the republicans have lost so much ground in our country they have fought every idea the president has come up with and as always they have used fear to gather support from the citizens. It began with cloaking health care reform as socialism, then came the death squads for killing grandma, followed the the uppercut of you will lose your medicare or employer provided insurance, just as health care began to stumble they brought in the one-two jab with the middle class will be over taxed and illegal immigrants will benefit from it!! The TKO, sadly we have enough self-righteous, ignorant, narcissistic, selfish citizens that this show should provide Republicans with the Oscar! You have to give them props though I mean shipping in loons to "Town-Hall" meetings to get folks riled up - that was creative!!!

Oh alright my rant has lost its steam and so I think I will say tah and watch Fox's new sitcom Glee!

Until next time thanks as always for stopping by and staying tuned during my blogs!!
