consumed by the wedding

Hello, sorry I have neglected to blog for a long while but my life has been consumed by all things wedding related!

I have managed a few other things to fill in the spare minutes...lol
We have planted the garden - that was fine when we did it the weather had warmed to the 80s and it appeared as though summer weather was here - then a cold snap hit and we had about 10 days of rain and colder temps - a couple of nights with freezing and frost - not sure if the tomatoes will pull through but they look ok I guess! The last few days it has warmed up and the rain has somewhat subsided. Yesterday I noticed sprouts every where!! We have grass growing and broccoli, carrots, strawberries, green beans, snap peas, and bell peppers. The onions, chives and garlic seem to be ok and my carnations are peeking through!!! I hope they grow - carnations are my favorite!!! We have them in pots on the deck. All-in-all the back yard is really beginning to come together!! I am excited to see it in July when we have a lawn and flowers and the garden is tall and green - it will be a nice place to hang out after work and on the weekends!!! I will take some pictures in a month or so and post them!!!
