I am so excited about the new development in my life that I felt the need to share.
I recently began a position at the local paper as a clerk and am receiving a type of training for my future that I wouldn't get in the classroom. It is awesome to have such a great opportunity. I now will go out into the field with not only a degree but also an experience that will give me an advantage over the competition. Also I have the opportunity to pick the brains of those individuals who I aspire to be like. Which will not only help me in the future but in my schooling.
It is taking some adjustment in scheduling. With school lasting from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and work from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. it makes for really long days. I am doing well with my studying and keeping up in school, but have not figured out eating and sleeping schedules yet so I am pretty tired as you can well imagine. I am sure though that I will figure it out!
