Brad and I like to take little adventures, sometimes it's to parts of the valley that we don't normally go and sometimes it's somewhere we've never been, sometimes it's planned and sometimes it's spontaneous, but no matter how long it may last it is always an adventure.
Today we had an adventure that took us to Joseph, Oregon, it is really very pretty there. We ate a late lunch at this quaint little place that served the best hamburgers either of us had had in longer than we could remember. After eating we walked around town and looked at the shops. Then it was on to Wallowa Lake, which is a majestic tour spot for families nestled in the eastern woods of Oregon. We looked around and then as it was getting late we headed back home.
On our way home we made a stop at a historic scenic view turnout. Here is where we saw a cinnamon colored black bear and her cub on a mountain range across the canyon. Back in the car and on our way back to Anatone, Washington, we came upon four peacocks, one of which was smack dab in the middle of our lane just staring at us.
Once back at home we decided to get some pie and watch a movie.
And that was the Memorial Day Weekend Adventure of Brad and Peggy.
Stay tuned for more Adventures of Brad and Peggy.
