A Boy and His Dog there is no stronger bond
The lazy days in the back yard, the walks around the neighborhood.
A boy can recover when a friend moves away or dad is unable to play because he always has his dog.
He has his dog to go fishing with, to play catch with, or to just hang out with.
There is no better heater in a sleeping bag than the boy’s dog and no other who would eat the veggies off his plate.
A boy can cry in front of his dog and not be laughed at and his dog does provide comic relief at times.
Here are three quotes about our canine friends:
Henry Ward Beecher - "The dog was created especially for children. He is the god of frolic."
Robert Benchley - "A boy can learn a lot from a dog: obedience, loyalty, and the importance of turning around three times before lying down."
Roger Caras - "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole."
