'Tis the season

Here we are approaching the holiday season.
Which by the way is my favorite time of year.
For me it begins the night before Thanksgiving.
With the baking of two or three pies.
Then Thanksgiving morning it's early to rise.
To prepare a feast for my family and friends.
After which I clean up and prepare for the next day.
That night it's early to bed, so that I can rise at 3:30 a.m.
Yes, I am a Black Friday junkie.
On this day, I will manage to get the bulk of my Christmas shopping done.
Once I get back home I will take a short nap, and then my favorite part.
I decorate the house, inside and out, upstairs and down, each room will be done.
From that point on it will be wrapping, baking and awaiting the jolly Saint Nick.
