It amazes me how many people have become riled by the recent Supreme Court decision allowing corporations the right to wine and dine our government officials under the guise of contributions.
News flash - this is not new!!! This has been occurring for about as long as we have been an industrialized country!
The hope was to finally put a stop to it and make our government accountable to the people instead of the corporation. See but that can't happen in a "Capitalist Society." The very meaning of capitalism is money talks, and who has more money than world-wide corporations? And well friends those corporations don't give a damn about what is just or what the people want - they care only about their bottom line!!
Lesson - most Americans confuse Socialism with Communism. They are NOT, I repeat NOT the same!!
A Socialist society means that each individual is taken care of - they all pay them same percentage of taxes and yes it is high but in return they all have medical care, schooling through college, as well as freedoms to choose.
A Communist society separates into classes with the lowest class being the largest and the least fortunate. The lower class are not cared for or about. They are given no voice and while they may receive medical attention it is of poor quality and they are only allowed a basic education unless they show a particular genius in something that can be used by the government.
