Valentines Day!!!

So it's Valentine's Day and I got the best gift a girl can get!!

Last night Brad and I had our Valentine date and here is how the night played out.

We left the house at about 6 p.m. and went to this new place called Le Boheme, where we had wonderful conversation and drank a glass of local wine before heading to our 7 o'clock dinner reservation at Sycamore Street Grill. At the restaurant I was given a rose before we were seated. We had crab stuffed mushroom caps for an appetizer, a glass of wine, and Brad had Shrimp Scampi and I had the duck. The food and wine were wonderful. We followed dinner up at another new place called Jazzy's, which is a Jazz club, where we had more conversation and another glass of wine. Needless to say it was an amazing date!

Then we made our way home, where we exchanged gifts. Brad handed me a large red bag, in it was a really cool professional bag that a friend of ours had and inside the bag there was a bunch of different candies. I pulled them all out and asked is that all of it and Brad replied "No I think there is something else keep looking," and he then went to one knee beside me holding out a little black box and said "Peggy Jean Hayden will you marry me?" To which I responded by falling to me knees in front of him and kissing him while tears ran down my face. After kissing for what seemed like 5 minutes I pulled away and said "Yes by the way!!!" we kissed again and then I realized I hadn't even really seen the ring so I said "let me see the ring." He took it out of the box and placed it on my finger!!! <3 <3 <3

I then preceded to text everyone that can get text messages to let them know that I was engaged!!! The rest of the night is private!!! lol

Thanks for stopping by and check back and the wedding plans take shape. Oh by the way the wedding is Oct. 10, 2010.
